My Grandad

Today is my Mums birthday. As a present we surprised her by geting my Grandad over all the way from the land of luck (Ireland). May not sound like the most epic birthday surprise but when you consider that my Mum hadn't seen her Dad for nearly 19 years ( for reasons that are rather personal ) for her this birthday was pretty Bad Ass.

Of course this also means the last time I saw him I had the privilege of being able to shit effortlessly anywhere (in a nappy) i.e I was a baby. Grandparents are Epic! He is like the nicest man I have ever met. Yes it saddens me a lot that I missed out on an insane amount of time with him but my God I am just glad to have him here!

He is so funny. It must be why i'm such a comic Genius. Who gets to laugh at their little brother with their Grandad because the last time I met him he was still a sperm? My Grandad also come to the conclusion that he hadn't changed much. LMFAO/ ROFL etc.

As much as it sucks, I havent got a long list of super cool moments with my Grandad so I can't say much. All I know is he is here for a short while and I intend to enjoy every moment I can with a Man who just does not stop smiling, with a Man who is genuinely great and hopefully one day I'll have a post talking about all the amazing moments me and him shared!

Before I go, I want to share something with you guys. The first time a Daughter clutches her Father in nearly 19 years.
